In the summer of 2010, a quiet Roanoke, Virginia community was unsettled by the discovery of a beloved former teacher and her son, both victims of a violent intrusion into their home. Sondra Doreen Lovell, a 77-year-old female, and her only child, Jon David Dunn, were found deceased in their residence in an act determined to be a homicide.
