On July 3, 2023, Brandi Campbell and Robert Moorman were found shot in the 900 block of Brandon Avenue in Southwest Roanoke. The incident was initially investigated as a homicide, with no immediate arrests made. The lack of answers and progress in the case caused distress for the victims' families.
