Lanell Janca Kahlbau, aged 72, was last seen on June 7, 2004, in Lampasas, Texas. Her disappearance is closely linked to heavy flooding in the area at the time. After she was reported missing, her vehicle was found submerged in a creek that feeds into the Lampasas River and eventually into the Stillhouse Reservoir. This discovery raised concerns that she may have been caught in the floodwaters, but despite searches, Lanell herself has never been located.
