Jeannette Gesela Drzewiecki, age 19, was last seen on September 13, 1982, in Odessa, Texas. That evening, she left her home to discuss work-related matters at a local club, the Doll's House, where she was employed as a waitress. She had just given birth to her daughter 11 days prior to her disappearance. Jeannette was last seen leaving the club after having one drink, saying she needed to return home to care for her infant daughter. However, she never made it back.
A week later, her pickup truck was found abandoned on the south side of Odessa. At the time of her disappearance, Jeannette was wearing a t-shirt with the phrase “People in Odessa are living proof that there is life on other planets” and cut-off blue jeans. Despite extensive investigations, her case remains unsolved, and foul play is suspected due to the lack of evidence and the circumstances surrounding her sudden disappearance.
Jeannette's family and authorities continue to seek answers in the hopes of resolving this decades-old cold case. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Odessa Police Department.Last Seen: Sep 13, 1982
