Judie Kay Lowery Munguia, a 32-year-old woman, was last seen on May 28, 1981, leaving her home in Odessa, Texas around 1 a.m. She told her husband that she was planning to visit a friend in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and would be gone for several days. Judie left in her gray 1977 Lincoln Continental, carrying two small pieces of luggage. However, she never reached her destination and was reported missing five days later.
Months after her disappearance, on November 14, 1981, Judie's car was found abandoned at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. Investigators determined the vehicle had been parked there since June 7. Inside the car, they found no trace of Judie, but five spent .22 caliber bullet casings were discovered in the back seat, raising suspicions of foul play. Despite the evidence, no major breakthroughs were made, and Judie remains missing.
