On September 23, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred in Wolfforth, Texas, resulting in the death of 67-year-old Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Green. The incident took place at the Green family residence on Barton Avenue, where Cynthia, her husband Louis Green, 73, and their grandson Brice Green, 25, were present. According to the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the perpetrator was identified as Michael Green, 49, the son of Cynthia and Louis.
