In the quiet morning hours of Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Roanoke, Virginia, the life of 56-year-old Kimberly Sue Lee was tragically cut short. At approximately 9:50 a.m., gunfire erupted in the 1600 block of Burrell Street NW, just outside a local convenience store. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Kimberly with gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
