LaQuan Kalief 'Quan' Harris, a 20-year-old male, tragically lost his life in a shooting on the evening of July 13, 2011, in Richmond, Virginia. At approximately 10:30 p.m., officers from the Richmond Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of Westover Hills Boulevard after receiving a report of a person being shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered Harris lying on the sidewalk, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
