Roger V. Giggey Jr., aged 57, was found dead on August 19, 2014, in Verona, Virginia, in what authorities have identified as a murder-suicide. The bodies of Giggey and his live-in girlfriend, Diane Marie Napoleone, aged 56, were discovered in their home on Oak Crest Drive. Both had sustained gunshot wounds to the head. The Augusta County Sheriff's Office reported that Napoleone might have been killed as early as August 17, with Giggey dying two days later.
