In the quiet setting of Mountain Run Lake Park in Culpeper, Virginia, a grim discovery was made on the afternoon of February 19, 2015. The bodies of 30-year-old Johnny Bynum, a White male, and 21-year-old Amber Lynn Martin were found inside a vehicle. Both had sustained apparent gunshot wounds, and their deaths were quickly determined to be homicides.

The investigation into the double homicide was initiated by the Culpeper County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Culpeper Police ...
