In the quiet town of Culpeper, Virginia, a sense of unease settled over a normally peaceful neighborhood. On the afternoon of September 9, 2022, local police and sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call from a home on Burgandine Avenue. Inside, they made a grim discovery that would send ripples of shock through the community. They found the bodies of 41-year-old Daniel Garrison, a White male, and his 40-year-old wife, Stacey Garrison. Both had been fatally shot.
