On a tragic Wednesday afternoon, June 3, 2015, the life of 19-year-old Kevonne D. M. Turner was cut short by violence in Newport News, Virginia. The young man was discovered shot in front of an apartment building in the 3600 block of Madison Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Born on June 30, 1995, to Claudia Turner and Kevin Titus, Kevonne was just a month shy of his twentieth birthday. Known for his outgoing, charismatic, and humorous personality, he had the ability to bring a smile to anyone's face.
