In the late afternoon of August 20, 2015, Antonio C. Scott, a 31-year-old man, was tragically killed in his Portsmouth, Virginia home. The violent intrusion shattered the peace of the residence on Florida Avenue, where Scott was with his sister and his seven-year-old daughter. Two armed men, later identified as Alfred Lane and Christian Burden, forced their way into the home around 2:45 p.m.
