Jasmine C. Hayslett, a 19-year-old from Stuarts Draft, Virginia, tragically lost her life on September 30, 2015. Her death was the result of a murder-suicide involving her boyfriend, Zachary Ham. According to law enforcement, Hayslett was shot in the 2300 block of Stuarts Draft Highway near Sam’s Hot Dogs. Her body was later found in a vehicle near the 800 block of Cherry Hill Drive in Staunton.
The investigation revealed that Zachary Ham, also 19, was responsible for Hayslett's death.
