Shianne T. Soles, a 19-year-old Navy Hospitalman from Veradale, Washington, tragically lost her life on May 4, 2019, in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was one of three service members involved in a double murder-suicide incident that occurred late that night. Soles and her friend, 23-year-old Hospitalman Meaghan Burns from South Deerfield, Massachusetts, were found shot to death outside a 7-Eleven on Effingham Street.
