Jonathan Caleb Smith, an 18-year-old from Ringgold, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2015. He was a junior at Dan River High School and was known for his kind nature and strong faith. Jonathan was born on September 10, 1997, in Reidsville, North Carolina, to Ervin Thomas Smith and Melissa Mays Marshal. His sudden death left his family and community in shock and mourning.
