David Christopher Long, aged 46, tragically lost his life on July 6, 2018, in Ringgold, Virginia. The incident occurred late at night on Neal Davis Road, where authorities responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered David Long deceased at the scene, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation quickly revealed that the perpetrator was his own son, Zackary Long, who was 22 years old at the time.
