In the early morning hours of November 5, 2024, the quiet of Old Quarry Road in Ringgold, Virginia, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Pittsylvania County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene at approximately 7 a.m. There, they discovered 26-year-old Tauron D. Brown Jr., a Black male from South Boston, suffering from a gunshot wound. Tragically, Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
