Kaleb Barker, a 31-year-old firefighter from Ringgold, Virginia, tragically lost his life on March 4, 2025, due to an accidental shooting. The incident occurred at approximately 7:42 p.m. on Countryside Drive in Ringgold, where law enforcement and emergency medical personnel responded to reports of a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, they found Barker unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was immediately transported to SOVAH Health in Danville, where he was pronounced dead.
