Joshua Rone, a 16-year-old high school junior from Caswell County, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on September 18, 2021, at the Danville-Pittsylvania County Fair in Ringgold, Virginia. Joshua, who was eagerly looking forward to the fair, was shot in the parking lot around 11:45 p.m. Emergency crews were on-site but faced challenges reaching him immediately due to the chaotic scene as the crowd fled in panic.
