On January 11, 2018, 19-year-old Austin Colson of South Royalton, Vermont, was last seen leaving his home, reportedly to collect scrap metal. His utility trailer was later found abandoned on Downer Road in Sharon, partially loaded with metal. Despite extensive searches, Colson remained missing for over four months.
