On March 17, 2018, 17-year-old Ty Martinez was fatally shot in the 3500 block of West Colfax Avenue in Denver, Colorado. According to the Denver Police Department, the incident occurred around 7 p.m. Following the shooting, Martinez's vehicle crashed into a building in the 3600 block of West Colfax. He was transported to Denver Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
