In the quiet community of Mineral, Virginia, the discovery of a man's body in the cold waters of Lake Anna brought a somber start to the new year. On the afternoon of Tuesday, January 12, 2016, a landscaping crew working near the shoreline made a grim find and promptly alerted the authorities. The deceased was identified as 66-year-old Joseph Ellis Tanner.
