Lavelle Tyrone Singleton, aged 37, tragically lost his life on May 1, 2016, in Newport News, Virginia. He was one of two individuals shot just before 6 a.m. on that fateful day in the 1200 block of 25th Street. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Singleton succumbed to his injuries, marking a devastating loss for his family and community.
