In the early morning hours of June 19, 2016, the life of 44-year-old William M. Johnson III was tragically cut short in Norfolk, Virginia. Responding to a call about a possible gunshot victim around 3:50 a.m., Norfolk Police officers arrived at Argonne Avenue to a grim scene. There, they discovered Johnson on the ground, suffering from what appeared to be a fatal gunshot wound. Paramedics who were called to the location pronounced him deceased at the scene.
