James Edward "Scooter" Byrd, aged 24, was tragically found deceased at his residence in Saint Stephens Church, Virginia, on August 16, 2016. The King and Queen County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting that Byrd had been shot inside his home. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Byrd's body with apparent gunshot wounds.
