Maurice Anderson Berger, a 17-year-old resident of Lorton, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on the night of September 7, 2016. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM in the 9700 block of Hagel Circle, a residential area in Lorton. According to reports, Maurice was found lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
