Johan De Leede, an 83-year-old retired economist from the World Bank, was tragically murdered on March 11, 2016, in his home in Lorton, Virginia. The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. when officers responded to a report of an unresponsive man at 6017 River Drive. Upon arrival, they found De Leede inside his residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
