Carmella Diane Winston, a 52-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost her life on October 9, 2016. She was an innocent bystander caught in a random act of violence. On that fateful day, Winston was sitting in a parked car on East Hill Street in the Gilpin Court area, accompanied by her mother and three young children, when she was struck by a stray bullet.
