Luke Patterson Dudley, a 21-year-old resident of Newport News, Virginia, was tragically found shot to death inside a rooming house on January 15, 2017. Dudley, originally from Duplin County, North Carolina, had moved to Newport News and was living in a four-bedroom rooming house on Madison Avenue at the time of his death. His death was the result of a violent confrontation following a drug deal gone wrong.
