In the early morning hours of April 7, 2021, 18-year-old Vinshaun Johnson was lured to a residential street in Richmond, Virginia, where he was fatally shot. Responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 4:28 a.m. in the 500 block of Montvale Avenue, police officers discovered Johnson unresponsive in the roadway with a gunshot wound.
