A resident of Chester, Virginia, he was a young man with a passion for music and drawing, having pursued a degree in the arts after graduating from high school. He was known to many by his nickname, 'D'Tre.'
On April 5, 2017, David Lee Coles III was found deceased in a Henrico, Virginia home. An altercation had occurred inside the residence, which ultimately led to his death from a gunshot wound.
