In the quiet, rural community of Java, Virginia, a violent act shattered the peace in May of 2017, leading to the death of 29-year-old Tyhike Hyson Felton. On Saturday, May 13, 2017, Felton was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head. The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, and Felton was transported to a hospital for treatment.
