On July 24, 2017, Terry Lynn Matsumoto, aged 82, was found dead in her Arlington, Virginia home. The tragic discovery was made by Arlington County Police officers who responded to a welfare check at the residence on North Quantico Street around 2:42 p.m. Inside the home, they found both Terry Lynn Matsumoto and her husband, Masao Matsumoto, aged 81, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
