On a late summer evening in Richmond, Virginia, the sounds of a party in Gillies Creek Park were tragically silenced by gunfire. On September 3, 2017, Jamar L. Anderson, a 32-year-old male, was fatally shot in the Fulton Hill neighborhood. The incident occurred in the 4300 block of Government Road, where a gathering was taking place.
