Vidal Smith, a 25-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on February 26, 2022. The incident occurred at Southside Plaza, where Smith was found with gunshot wounds. Richmond police responded to the scene at approximately 4:21 p.m. and transported Smith to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The medical examiner confirmed that Smith's death was a result of the gunshot wounds he sustained during the shooting.
