On a tragic afternoon in Portsmouth, Virginia, a dispute that began on social media escalated into fatal violence, claiming the life of 39-year-old Jennifer Bartel. The White/Caucasian mother and grandmother was shot in the torso outside her home on Cushing Street on March 14, 2018, and succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
