Mary Cadreau, aged 95, passed away on June 6, 2011, in Portsmouth, VA, in what was determined to be a tragic murder-suicide. Her husband, Alfred Cadreau, aged 86, was found to have shot Mary before turning the gun on himself. The couple had been married for nearly 57 years and were deeply committed to each other.
