On March 16, 2019, 34-year-old Chiquita Monique Giles and her stepfather, 66-year-old Wilbur Giles, were found shot to death inside an apartment on Gateway Drive. The discovery marked the beginning of a grim investigation into a domestic tragedy that would ultimately lead to a conviction within the family.
