In the quiet evening of Sunday, May 13, 2018, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace on Old Post Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia. When police officers arrived at the 600 block around 8:25 p.m., they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The injured man was 41-year-old Mark Burke, a resident of Virginia Beach. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
