Mark Burke, a 41-year-old resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia, tragically lost his life on May 13, 2018. The incident occurred on Old Post Road, where Burke was found with gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The Virginia Beach police quickly identified and arrested 49-year-old Roger Carnell Yancy in connection with the shooting. Yancy was initially charged with second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
