On August 1, 2018, 22-year-old Jose Enriques Amaya Sanchez was fatally shot on the back deck of a residence on Arizona Avenue in Woodbridge, Virginia. The following day, Prince William County police arrested 19-year-old Jorge Anthony Sandoval, charging him with Amaya Sanchez's murder.
