On a summer evening in Woodbridge, Virginia, the life of 22-year-old Jose Enriques Amaya Sanchez was tragically cut short. On August 1, 2018, Sanchez was shot and killed on the back deck of a home in the 14700 block of Arizona Avenue. The incident, which unfolded around 10:38 p.m., was preceded by an altercation between Sanchez and an acquaintance.
