Monti Hughes, a 15-year-old from Norfolk, Virginia, tragically lost his life on August 13, 2018. On that evening, Norfolk Police responded to a call in the 1300 block of Herbert Collins Way around 8 p.m. They found Monti suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
