On September 11, 2018, Katherine Beale, aged 71, was found dead in her residence on Yarmouth Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia. The Norfolk Police Department responded to a call about a suspicious situation at approximately 2:45 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Katherine Beale with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
