In the late summer of 2018, the life of 47-year-old Tanya Washington was brought to a tragic and violent end in Richmond, Virginia. On the evening of Thursday, September 13th, a welfare check requested by concerned acquaintances led police to a harrowing discovery in a residence on the 3200 block of Midlothian Turnpike. Inside the home, officers found Ms. Washington deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
