In the late summer of 2018, the life of Wayne Edward Friday was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. A 35-year-old Black male, Friday's untimely death on September 28, 2018, was the result of a homicide. His body was discovered in an alley, the victim of fatal gun violence.
