On the night of January 8, 2022, the life of 36-year-old Jamaal Eric Bright, a Black male from Richmond, Virginia, was tragically cut short. Just after 11 p.m., Henrico 9-1-1 started receiving calls reporting shots fired in the vicinity of Byron Street and Bolling Road.
