A young man's life was tragically cut short in the early days of 2018, leaving a community searching for answers that have yet to come. Javon Ismeal Patron, a 23-year-old male, was killed in a shooting on the evening of Saturday, January 6, 2018, in Richmond, Virginia. The incident occurred in the Hillside Court area, a neighborhood that has unfortunately been the scene of other violent crimes.
