Javon I. Jay Patron, a 23-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on January 6, 2018. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the 1600 block of Rosecrest Avenue in Hillside Court. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 1 a.m. and discovered Patron's body at the rear of a dwelling. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
