On a Sunday evening in Richmond, Virginia, the life of 26-year-old Jazshawn T. Hickman was tragically cut short. On June 11, 2023, at approximately 10:34 p.m., police were dispatched to the 4000 block of Midlothian Turnpike following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Jazshawn, a Black/African American male, inside an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound.
