Demonta Faircloth, a 16-year-old from Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2018. Demonta, affectionately known as "Doo Doo," was a sophomore at Woodrow Wilson High School. He was described as a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, being the third of seven children. On the night of his death, Demonta was shot and killed on Jefferson Street in Portsmouth. His family was devastated by the loss and spoke about their heartbreak and the impact Demonta had on their lives.
