On a Friday night in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 30-year-old Ryan M. Toppin was tragically cut short. It was shortly before 10:00 p.m. on October 19, 2018, when police were called to the Dundale Square Apartments located in the 6600 block of Chesapeake Boulevard. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Toppin in the parking lot of the apartment complex, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
