Ryan M. Toppin, a 30-year-old resident of Norfolk, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 19, 2018, in a fatal shooting incident. The Norfolk Police Department responded to a call about a gunshot victim at the Dundale Square Apartments, located in the 6600 block of Chesapeake Boulevard, shortly before 10 p.m. that evening. Upon arrival, officers found Toppin suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
